Hot Shot Style Regulator/Rectifier are constructed with even higher capacity components. Utilizing higher gauge wires, these units are able to handle higher voltage fluctuations without burning out. Large radiator fins increase surface area to dissipate more heat.
Notes: Rick's Motorsport Electrics has designed this Aftermarket Lithium Ion Compatible Rectifier Regulator for your Vintage Honda Street Bike with OE# 31700-216-000. Our part # 14-135H is a combination unit that works with the stock stator to provide an upgraded charging system; it allows the stator to charge at full capacity 100% of the time! *This rec/reg needs to be relocated & will not look the same as OE but Installation instructions will be provided. **It is not designed to work with Rick's high output stator kits. Rick recommends this product for custom builds. Please use Rick's part #14-164H if you want an upgraded rec-reg that will mount in the same location as the OE part. ***This rec-reg is not for use with standard lead acid batteries. The voltage set point is 14V +/- .2. Please contact the manufacturer of your Lithium Ion Battery to ensure our product has the correct set point for their product. ****Rick's Motorsport Electrics One Year Product Warranty is for the Rec-Reg only. Rick's warranty does not cover batteries of any type.
